Ever since last Sunday, I have been studying 1 Samuel and simply trying to be obedient to what God has been placing on my heart. I’ve been reading, praying, fasting, listening, and seeking His direction.
Then today happened… and everything I had been studying all week was taught right before me. CONFIRMATION!
Sometimes God will give you a word in your private time with Him, and then He will confirm it in a way that leaves no doubt. That’s when you realize, “God, You were talking to me the whole time.”
There is something powerful about fasting and praying. When you quiet the noise, surrender your own agenda, and genuinely seek God, you become more sensitive to His voice.
You can hear God clearly when you seek Him sincerely.
Obedience may not always make sense in the moment. You may not see where He is leading you. You may even wonder why God keeps telling you to wait, pray, study, or separate yourself.
But keep going.
Because what God reveals in your secret place, He will confirm in the right place and at the right time.
Today was another reminder for me:
I’m not imagining what God has been showing me.
I’m not walking this journey alone.
God is speaking. I just have to be willing to listen and obey.
If God has been pulling you closer lately, don’t ignore it.
If He has been telling you to pray, pray.
If He has been telling you to fast, fast.
If He has been telling you to wait, wait.
If He has been telling you to move, move.
And when He confirms it, give Him ALL the glory!
Confirmation will meet you on the other side of obedience. 🙏🏽
